After having taken classical piano lessons from the tender age of 6, Henning Wanner’s taste increasingly turned to rock as he grew older, starting with the Kiss records from his parent’s collection. At 16 he finally founded his first band and after working with a range of other artists on many of his own projects and in cover bands as a vocalist, songwriter, bassist, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist, Henning “Wanna” Wanner finally landed with the melodic rock band JADED HEART in 2001 where he plays the keyboard. Musically he was influenced by Jon Oliva (Savatage), Paul Stanley (Kiss), Ted Pulit (Thunderhead) and Jonathan Cain (Journey). Pop icons like Elton John and Depeche Mode have also accompanied him on his musical journey. Along with his voice and fingers, Henning Wanner uses Korg and Roland synthesizers, Yamaha pianos, Gibson and Ibanez guitars, Marshall amplifiers, Shure microphones and now König & Meyer products as well, especially the K&M »Spider Pro«.
