“If you walk in the footsteps of others, your leave no trace of yourself behind” the free-thinker Wilhelm Busch once said. This is a perfect description of the philosophy of the German Stone the Crow quartet. Instead of changing to reflect the latest trend or laws governing style in the German music market, Stone the Crow have been setting creative points of contrast since their debut with “Daylight” in 1999.
The band joined us at our booth at the Musikmesse Frankfurt for an autograph session in 2002. Since 2007 though, things have gotten rather quiet around this rock band from Schwäbisch Hall.
