Sofi<\/strong> stammt aus Las Palmas (Kanarische Inseln, Spanien) und hat in ihren jungen Jahren schon in LA und London, wo sie studierte, gelebt. Ihr aktueller Wohnsitz ist in Berlin.<\/p>\n

Rubinrot<\/h3>\n

Als Sofi 2013 die Chance bekam den Titelsong f\u00fcr den Kinofilm Rubinrot zu schreiben, ging sie nach London, um dort den Song Faster zu produzieren. Dieser verkaufte sich \u00fcber 30.000 Mal und hielt sich f\u00fcnf Wochen in den Top 100 der Charts. Auch die weiteren Songs des Rubinrot-Soundtracks wie Wings, Perfect fall und Recognise me sind von Sofi de la Torre.<\/p>\n

Ihr Album Mine wurde ebenfalls 2013 ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Live stellte Sofi es w\u00e4hrend eine Kurz-Tournee vor, unter anderem auf der Emergenza Acoustic Review in M\u00fcnchen.<\/p>\n

Neue Wege<\/h3>\n

Ein Jahr sp\u00e4ter hat Sofi mit Jonas Karlsson und Axel Ehnstr\u00f6m (Co-Songwriter & Produzenten) ihr neues „Dream-Team“ gefunden. Das Ergebnis sind Songs im tricky und edgy Pop-Stil mit scharfen, eigenst\u00e4ndigen Lyrics.<\/p>\n

Sofi m\u00f6chte gerne Neues ausprobieren und sich auf kein Musik-Genre festlegen lassen. Aus diesem Grund schloss sie sich mit Andre Crom und Chi Thahn, zwei der besten Deep House Produzenten Deutschlands, zusammen.
\nDie erste Zusammenarbeit mit den beiden war die Single Vermillion (ver\u00f6ffentlicht im Juni 2014). Diese schaffte es in die Airplay Charts auf BBC Radio 1, ins Capital Radio (UK) und platzierte sich in den Top 20 von Beatport.
\nZudem schrieb Sofi mit an den Songs f\u00fcr das Projekt „Crom & Thanh“ und war auch auf dem Deb\u00fct Album als S\u00e4ngerin zu h\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n

Bis nach LA f\u00fcr die Kunst<\/h3>\n

Zwischendurch ging es f\u00fcr Sofi nach LA, um den Hip Hopper Hunnit ein paar Zeilen f\u00fcr ihren Song Noir rappen zu lassen. Zudem drehte sie dort mit Tony Tomasino Filmmaterial f\u00fcr ihre kommenden (Video) Singles. 2015 erschien die EP „That isn\u00b4t you“ (unten eingebettet) und 2016 „Sit down“.<\/p>\n

2017 ver\u00f6ffentlichte Sofi ihr neues Album: another. not me. i’m done.
