Raymond Michael Garvey<\/h3>\n

Rea Garvey wurde 1973 in County Kerry, Irland geboren. Der irische S\u00e4nger & Gitarrist wurde vor allem als Frontmann von Reamonn bekannt, einer erfolgreichen Band, die sich 2010 nach rund 11 Jahren aufl\u00f6ste. Im Folgejahr erschien bereits Reas erstes Soloalbum. „Can\u2019t Stand the Silence“ schaffte es auf Platz 4 und hielt sich 60 Wochen in den Charts. Das zweite Album „Pride“ wurde 2014 ver\u00f6ffentlicht und war ebenfalls erfolgreiche 48 Wochen in den Charts.
\nRea Garvey arbeitet\/e zudem als Songwriter und S\u00e4nger immer wieder mit anderen Musikern wie Xavier Naidoo, The BossHoss oder Sasha zusammen. 2006 nahm er mit Nelly Furtado eine Version des Nr. 1-Hits „All Good Things“ auf und auch am Soundtrack zu Til Schweigers „Keinhohrhase“ war er beteiligt.
\n2010 war Rae in der Jury von „Unser Star f\u00fcr Oslo“ und seit 2011 ist er (bis auf ein Jahr Pause) Jurymitglied\u00a0 der erfolgreichen TV Show „The Voice of Germany“.<\/p>\n

Von Prisma bis Hy Brasil<\/h3>\n

Im Oktober 2015 erschien das drittes Solo-Album „Prisma“. Rea produzierte erstmals in einem deutschen Studio, in den Hansa-Tonstudios seiner Wahlheimat Berlin. Der charismatische Ire, der bislang mehr durch emotionale Aussagen die Herzen seiner Fans eroberte, widmet sich mit diesem Album einem anderen Thema: Dem Hinsehen, Wachwerden und Aufstehen. Rea setzt sich als Ziel „…die Verantwortung eines Musikers \u00fcber das Weltgeschehen zu berichten und eine Antwort auf die Anklagen, welche im Namen des Friedens erhoben wurden, zu liefern.“ Und Platz 2 in den Charts gibt ihm Recht.
\nRea sagt au\u00dferdem \u00fcber seine Platte: „Dieses Album ist ein Ausbau meiner selbst, meiner Emotionen, meiner Gem\u00fctsverfassung aber es ist eben auch ein Statement – Du bist ein Individuum und wenn ihr nicht gl\u00fccklich mit der Welt seid, dann tut euch zusammen und werdet laut.“ Nach 2016 blieb es auch 2017 laut: Get Loud Open Air Tour. 2018 brachte Rea das Album „NEON“ auf dem Markt, zwei Jahre sp\u00e4ter Hy Brasil.<\/p>\n

\nIn den letzten f\u00fcnf Jahren war Rea Garvey musikalisch sehr aktiv: internationale Erfolge, neue Songs, gro\u00dfe Touren und ein emotionales Album (HALO). Parallel hat er sein Profil als Moderator (SWR3), TV-Coach und Live-K\u00fcnstler (Club\u2011 und Arena-Shows, Open\u2011Air und Weihnachts\u2011Tour) weiter ausgebaut.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
