Wenn mitten auf dem Marktplatz eine geladene Schusswaffe liegt, brauchen wir uns keine Sorgen zu machen. Zahlreiche Menschen haben doch schon in Vortr\u00e4gen den verantwortungsvollen Umgang damit gepredigt. Okay, mag sein. Doch irgendeiner wird das Teil nehmen und damit eine Bank ausrauben, um sich das Geld zu holen, f\u00fcr das andere sehr lange arbeiten mussten.
\nPasst die Allegorie, oder ist sie zu extrem?
\nIrgendjemand wird sich der k\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz bedienen, um in einem Bruchteil der Zeit ein Vielfaches dessen zu kreieren, wozu Normalsterbliche im Stande sind. Erst vor kurzem hat mir jemand erz\u00e4hlt, wie ein Spezl t\u00e4glich zwei Top Songs \u201eheraushaut\u201c \u2013 mit KI.<\/p>\n

Aufhalten werden wir das ganze nicht. Aber auch die Industrie wird dem keinen Riegel vorschieben k\u00f6nnen, so wie sie es sich aktuell noch ertr\u00e4umt. Uploadfilter und so weiter. Verg\u00fctung der Originalstimmen. Gib mir einfach kurz Gelegenheit, ein paar dieser Mythen zu kommentieren. Vielleicht verleitet es doch noch ein paar wenige zum Nachdenken. Falls ich falsch liegen sollte, freue ich mich tats\u00e4chlich.<\/p>\n

KI ist nur da, um den Workflow zu erg\u00e4nzen<\/h3>\n

Vielleicht haben wir beide noch genug Stolz, um es bei der Suche nach Reimw\u00f6rtern zu belassen. Irgendjemand wird aber wie ein multiinstrumentales Genie Darbietungen abliefern, die unsere in den Schatten stellen werden. Und dann wird man uns sagen \u201eHey, nimm Dir mal ein Beispiel an dem da. Der Hammer!\u201c Und der wird immerhin lange genug den Schein aufrecht erhalten k\u00f6nnen, um sich ein geiles Leben zu machen.<\/p>\n

KI kann echte menschliche Emotionen nicht ersetzen<\/h3>\n

Das stimmt. Aber wen interessiert es? Wenn ich versehentlich beim typischen Formatradio mit Nachmittagsgewinnspielen vorbeischalte, h\u00f6re ich kaum noch Musik mit echten Instrumenten, jedenfalls nicht im Tagesprogramm. Und die Ges\u00e4nge sind nicht selten bis zur Unmenschlichkeit hin bearbeitet. Und ganz ehrlich, bevor ich selbst Musik gemacht habe, hatte auch ich einen Drumcomputer f\u00fcr ein echtes Schlagzeug gehalten. Lange hat es gedauert, bis ich wusste, wer Doktor Avalanche ist. Und ich beginne wieder mit \u201eund\u201c: Und in vielen F\u00e4llen m\u00fcssen wir schon jetzt unsere akustischen Musikproduktionen an der Klangqualit\u00e4t virtueller Instrumente messen lassen.<\/p>\n

KI generierte Musik ist in Bezug auf Copyrightverst\u00f6\u00dfe riskant<\/h3>\n

Die k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz \u201ekomponiert\u201c genau wie wir auch, sie setzt altes Geh\u00f6rtes neu zusammen. Zwei T\u00f6ne von dem einen Song, drei von dem anderen, kombiniert mit der Rhythmik weiterer Musikst\u00fccke, und irgendwann wird man nicht mehr erkennen k\u00f6nnen, woran sie sich bedient hat. Und wo kein Kl\u00e4ger, dort auch kein Richter. W\u00fcrdest Du bemerken, wenn jemand bei Dir geklaut hat? Gibt es eine Datenbank mit allen bisher ver\u00f6ffentlichten Aufnahmen, mit der automatisch regelm\u00e4\u00dfig abgeglichen wird?<\/p>\n

KI wird von Uploadfiltern erkannt<\/h3>\n

Einige Digitalvertriebe arbeiten an Filtern, die angeblich k\u00fcnstlich-intelligent generierte Musikaufnahmen erkennen sollen, um solche Titel dann abzulehnen. Mag vielleicht sein, dass dies bei einigen zu hundert Prozent k\u00fcnstlich generierten Songs funktioniert. Doch was, wenn nur die Basis k\u00fcnstlich ist und der Rest von Hand dazugespielt wurde? Oder wenn KI den fertigen Song ausgespuckt und der \u201eMusiker\u201c ihn noch einmal selbst nachgebastelt hat?<\/p>\n

KI generierte Musik kann man nicht live spielen\u2026<\/h3>\n

\u2026 weil viele ihrer Kreatoren gar kein Instrument spielen k\u00f6nnen. Ja und? Auch heute schon sind DJs f\u00fcr viele die g\u00fcnstigere mit weniger Logistik und Personal verbundene Alternative. Und wenn Menschen schon einem von KI geschaffenen Model hinterherlaufen und es f\u00fcr Auftr\u00e4ge buchen, dann werden sie sich auch bald Leinwandshows und Hologramme ansehen und ihnen ihre Unterhosen auf die B\u00fchne werfen. Oh halt, gibt es das nicht schon in Fernost?<\/p>\n

Es gibt Verg\u00fctungen f\u00fcr gefakte Originalstimmen<\/h3>\n

Allm\u00e4hlich entstehen Gesetze, welche die Rechte an der eigenen Stimme sch\u00fctzen sollen (\u201eELVIS Act\u201c). Doch wie niedrig wird die Verg\u00fctung f\u00fcr diejenigen ausfallen, die ihre Stimme frei- oder unfreiwillig hergegeben haben? Auch dazu br\u00e4uchte es eine Stimmendatenbank, mit der wiederum abgeglichen wird, und die trotz aller Effekthascherei verl\u00e4sslich identifiziert. Kann auch identifiziert werden, wenn jemand wie bei einem Synthesizer mehrere Stimmen \u00fcbereinandergelegt hat? Erneut kommt die Frage auf: W\u00fcrdest Du es mitbekommen, geschweige denn erkennen, wenn Deine Stimme pl\u00f6tzlich einen fremden Song singt? Bestimmt nicht, wenn sie von einem Songwriter gekapert wurde, der lediglich eine sch\u00f6nere Stimme f\u00fcr ein Demo haben wollte (w\u00e4hrend Du noch einen echten S\u00e4nger oder eine S\u00e4ngerin daf\u00fcr bezahlst).<\/p>\n

Ich selbst habe keine Angst vor k\u00fcnstlich generierter Musik. Ich habe allerdings meine Bedenken davor, wenn viele \u201eMusiker\u201c sie vollumf\u00e4nglich nutzen und ihre Abnehmer sie irgendwann akzeptieren werden. Dann werde ich mit dem Produktionstempo nicht mehr mithalten k\u00f6nnen, hinzu kommt, dass durch k\u00fcnstliche Massenproduktion der Preis des fertigen Produktes gewiss nicht steigen wird.<\/p>\n

Aktuell verklagt die Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) die KI-Musikgeneratoren Suno und Udio auf Urheberrechtsverletzung (Juni\/Juli 2024). Schlie\u00dflich sei deren k\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz mit Hilfe des Musikkatalogs der von der RIAA repr\u00e4sentierten Labels trainiert worden und rufe folglich st\u00e4ndig Elemente der darin enthaltenen Songs ab, um sie neu zusammenzusetzen. Der Definition nach d\u00fcrfte die RIAA hier richtig liegen. Auch die GEMA hat als weltweit erste Verwertungsgesellschaft Klage gegen OpenKI wegen Urheberrechtsverletzungen erhoben.<\/p>\n
