{"id":8632,"date":"2018-08-29T22:07:24","date_gmt":"2018-08-29T20:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.k-m.de\/brand\/endorser\/kettcar\/"},"modified":"2024-11-16T18:11:39","modified_gmt":"2024-11-16T17:11:39","slug":"kettcar","status":"publish","type":"endorser","link":"https:\/\/www.k-m.de\/brand\/en\/endorser\/kettcar\/","title":{"rendered":"Kettcar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kettcar: That&#8217;s Marcus Wiebusch and Erik Langer (both vocals and guitar), Reimer Bustorff (bass and vocals), Lars Wiebusch (keyboard and vocals) and Christian Hake (drums since 2010).<br \/>\nSince 2001, the indie rock\/pop band has already been mixing it up in the music business.<\/p>\n<p>When no record company was found for the debut album &#8220;Du und wieviel von deinen Freunden&#8221;, Marcus Wiebusch, Reimer Bustorff together with Thees Uhlmann simply founded their own label: Grand Hotel van Cleef. Thus, under &#8220;GHvC&#8221; the debut album was released in October 2002.<\/p>\n<p>10 years later the fourth album &#8220;Zwischen den Runden&#8221; came out, which like its predecessors reached the fifth place in the charts.<br \/>\nThe fifth album, which then took fourth place for six weeks, was released under the name &#8220;Ich vs. Wir&#8221; in October 2017. In the lyrics, the band criticizes current events &#8211; ego cynics, pegidists and concerned citizens are the subject. At concerts, Kettcar joked about making &#8220;political punk&#8221; in the meantime. Two years later, the EP &#8220;Der s\u00fc\u00dfe Duft der Widerspr\u00fcchlichkeit (Wir vs. Ich)&#8221; came out. The five songs are also seen as a follow-up to the album &#8220;Ich vs Wir&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Gute Laune ungerecht verteilt&#8221; is the musicians&#8217; latest work, released in 2024. The single &#8220;Deiche&#8221; can be heard on their tour this summer, through Germany, Austria and Switzerland &#8211; and here you can treat yourself to a live recording of
