In April a new laser tube cutting machine <\/b>has been installed at K&M.
\nA separate production hall of 1000 square meters was built last fall to house the laser. With the new laser round, angular and oval tubes from steel, stainless steel and aluminum<\/b> can be processed. Completely independent from any tools every shape can be cutted, which offers new possibilities in the production process. With the new laser we have new options for innovative product developments. Due to the CNC technology modifications during the manufacturing process can be easily realized. From small to larger series we are now able to produce more cost-effective and more flexible than traditional punching and cutting processes.<\/p>\n

The following tube dimensions can be operated:<\/b>
\n– Round tubes from 12 mm to 140 mm diameter
\n– Square tubes from 12 x 12 mm to 120 x 120 mm
\n– Rectangular- und oval tubes from 10 mm to 140 mm
\n– Tube thickness up to 7 mm<\/p>\n

Loadable tube length from 3200 mm to 6500 mm
\nLength of workable parts up to 3500 mm
\nSize of machine approx. 16 m length \/ 5 m width<\/p>\n

In addition the laser offers the possibility to cut special forms and profiles<\/b>
\n(flat, L-shaped, C-shaped, U-shaped profiles).<\/p>\n

Because of the large capacity to provide raw material the laser is able to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
