When precision becomes philosophy.
Since the founding of König & Meyer, tool making has been the main focus in our production process. Here creativity teams up with precision. Regular and special tools, follow-on dies and the building of special purpose machines are part of day-to-day business, not least because of our high degree of vertical integration.
From design and construction using our CAD systems (Siemens NX and Creo Elements/Direct Drafting) through to implementation, our experienced specialists develop solutions to meet your specific requirements with expertise and the utmost care. It is this expertise, combined with the latest technologies – including CNC-controlled milling and turning machines as well as wire and sinker EDM machines – that defines the quality of our toolmaking and mechanical engineering.

The fusion of flexibility and precision.
Two fully programmable welding robots offer their unbeatable precision to you around the clock. With their Push & Pull burners (Fronius gas-shielded welding equipment), they create solid joints of invariably uniform quality when welding steel and aluminum.
This applies to the manufacturing of either large or small quantities. In addition, we can manufacture small manually welded lot sizes perfectly and reliably. By means of spot welding or stud welding processes, or MIG/MAG or WIG welding machines, we connect steel components quickly and flexibly per precise specifications.

The art of processing plastics.
Highly efficient modern injection molding machines in different catego- ries enable us to process nearly every kind of thermoplastic (except PVC and silicone) quickly and economically in an environmentally friendly fashion.
The necessary tools for production can be provided in our in-house tool shop or, due to the compatibility of our machines, be easily taken over from the customer.
Qualified mechanics work efficiently and flexibly for you. That’s why we can realize production orders at extremely short notice if needed. Decades of experience in the manufacturing of various plastic parts make us a truly competent partner.

Turning: everything revolves around quality
When it comes to their machines, they’re nobody’s fools: Well-trained precision mechanics utilize the full efficiency of our CNC- operated lathes in order to produce as rationally and cost-effectively as possible. Loadable tool turrets with propelled tools able to process com- ponents on both sides without clamping as well as load magazines that facilitate an automated production process make this possible.
Round, square or hexagonal material can be processed in aluminum, brass or steel. Strict adherence to tolerances is self-evident.

High-quality cutting and forming.
With CNC-operated eccentric presses we process strip steel (also stainless steel, galvanized steel and aluminum) from the coil to high-quality semi-finished products. Follow-on dies provide for the separation cut, forming, stamping and even thread rolling in one operation. Tracersup to 63 t pressing power, probes and sensors ensure a safe operational sequence and maximum precision. Our in-house tool shop will gladly provide you with the necessary tools. Our CNC-operated hydraulic presses have a pressing power of up to 63 tons.
We also offer every type of separation cut and forming work in the same high quality.
| Hydraulic presses: | up to 63 t pressing power |
| Hydraulic drawing cushion for precise counterpressure during bending | |
| Press-fitting of turned parts into tubes up to 2,000 mm in length | |
| Eccentric presses: | Pressing forces of 63, 100 and 160 tons for every application |

Environmentally-friendly powder coating Technology.
It’s in our surface finishing that our know-how really shows. Our powder coating plant, newly built in 2024, sets standards in terms of quality, flexibility and efficient manufacturing. Here, metal parts are electrostatically coated with high-quality powder using 12 spray guns per booth. Two cyclone separators ensure high recovery rates for environmentally friendly production and maximum efficiency. In particular, parts to be powder-coated in black can be flexibly and cost-effectively integrated into ongoing production. Versatile rack carts can accommodate almost all workpiece shapes (up to 1200 x 1800 x 400 mm), often eliminating the need for new fixtures. Several buffer stations and two loading stations ensure fast and flexible production.

We see tubes in a completely different light.
Round, square or oval – we finish steel or stainless steel tubes in seconds with the latest laser technology. Fully independent of any tools, contours can be cut that offer completely new possibilities for further processing. With the tube laser, a whole world of new products opens up. Thanks to CNC control, requests for alterations can be flowed immediately into the ongoing manufacturing process.
From small series to mass production, we are therefore able to manufacture substantially more economically and flexibly than possible with any conventional punching and separation tool.

Flexible, Precise – and please without tooling costs?
That´s what we do.
You have the idea, we have the right technology. Whether a pilot series or large volumes, we deliver precision work product after product with our CNC- controlled flatbed laser machine. In doing so, the elimination of tools is espe- cially noticeable in small production runs with advantageous per-piece costs. Steel, stainless steel or aluminum sheets can be cut in any desired form. And with our flatbed laser machine, any desired changes can immediately flow into ongoing production. The manufactured parts are nearly burr-free and ready for any further processing.
Among other possibilities, our CNC-controlled bending machine is an option for further processing. It can bend sheet metal with a thickness of up to 10 mm with the greatest possible precision.
