Guitar performer stands: play instead of parking your instrument

These performer stands are not traditional guitar stands. They are there so that you can work with your guitar – and not just park it. Whether electric or acoustic guitar, you can adjust the height, tilt, and angle exactly as you like. You can use them to quickly switch from one guitar to another while relieving strain on your back and shoulders.  

The contact surfaces are non-slip and covered with felt. The construction is stable – even when things get a bit crowded on stage. Particularly practical: on models with a side jack connection, you can easily feed the cable through the slotted cover.   

Piano benches – because sitting is more than just comfort

A good piano bench can be recognised by the fact that you don’t have to think about it. You sit correctly, stably, and relaxed. It looks good, complements the piano perfectly, and remains completely silent in use. That’s exactly what our new models are made for.  

From classic solid wood piano benches and versions with integrated music compartments to hydraulic models with smooth, highly comfortable height adjustment, you are guaranteed to find the bench that suits your playing routine.  

For lessons and duets, there is a double-seat piano bench with two separately adjustable seats. If you like things to be particularly comfortable, the deluxe versions offer generous, studded upholstery, and a high-quality finish.

If you want even more flexibility, the laptop mount 23876 is the right choice. It ensures a secure hold when clamped to desks, tables, or similar surfaces. It can be reliably positioned using the multi-directional adjustable swivel arm.

The 50s and 60s
The rise of music and the first steps from K&M

The 50s—an era of new beginnings and reinvention. Rock ‘n’ roll sparked a revolution on living room radios and dance floors. It was precisely at this time that the journey of König & Meyer began. The first K&M music stand was mass-produced in Wertheim. This product turned an idea into an indispensable tool for musicians.

The enthusiasm for music grew in the 60s. The “British Invasion” with the Beatles and Rolling Stones brought a wave of new artists and ideas.König & Meyer introduced microphone stands to its product range, and the legendary 210/2 quickly became a stage essential for performers around the world. It remains a top-selling product to this day and is unsurpassed in its popularity.

The 70s and 80s
From big stages and pop icons

The 70s marked the beginning of an era of superstars and big stages. Artists such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and David Bowie created elaborate shows with spectacular set-ups. Music evolved from sound into a full sensory experience. K&M responded with new speaker stands, especially the 214/6. The combination of stability and function made it the standard for small stages in particular and supported artists with demanding performances and on long tours.

The 80s were a bold, colorful era of avant-garde creativity. Pop music experienced a boom, and stars such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Prince changed the image of pop culture. The saxophone, elevated by synth sounds, became the instrument of the hour and the K&M 14300 stand a trusted resting place for these prized instruments. In the glittering world of pop, musicians appreciated the robust and reliable stands from K&M.

The 1990s and 2000s
The era of individuality and digital change

The 90s—a decade of individuality and rebellion. Grunge, hip-hop, and techno took over the music scene and brought in a bold new generation of artists. From small clubs to large festivals, musicians sought authenticity and expression. K&M responded with products that embodied this spirit. For keyboard players, the »Spider« still one of today’s most iconic stands, brought new levels of freedom and flexibility.

The 2010s to today

Music-making changed once again in the 2010s. Social media and streaming turned today’s artists into overnight stars with stages popping up everywhere—from living rooms to open-air festivals.

The right light and the perfect sound make all the difference. That’s why we at König & Meyer have developed a series of light/speaker stands that not only look good but also save space and thus minimize the risk of tripping on stage. 

26731 Speaker Stand:

Sleek, stylish, and stable – our speaker stand is the perfect solution if you have little space but still want to achieve great things. With its flat steel plate and practical carrying handle, it is ideal for use on small stages or in confined studios. The height can be adjusted in five stages from 1,135 mm to 1,835 mm. If it has to be handy, space saving, and reliable, this stand has it all. 

24650 und 24653 Lightning/ Speaker stand:

Your band will love these two stands. They are virtually the universal solution for light and sound on stage. The height can be adjusted in five steps from 1,400 mm to 2,400 mm. With the M10 threaded bushing, the 24650 and 24653 can also be used to securely position crossbars and speakers. With the optional 26709 additional weight, the stands are extremely stable – even with heavier speakers. The highlight – with the 24653, there are three options for positioning the tube combination: either a central/off-center position or in the corner of the base plate.
