A special honor for our managing director Gabriela König

November 12, 2025, was a special moment for us at König & Meyer: our managing director Gabriela König received the Economic Medal of the State of Baden-Württemberg at the New Palace in Stuttgart. This recognition honors not only an individual, but also the work and attitude that have shaped our company for decades.

An evening full of appreciation

The Economic Medal is awarded by the state of Baden-Württemberg to individuals who have made a special contribution to the state’s economy. At the award ceremony, Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut praised Gabriela König’s commitment with warm and apt words. She particularly highlighted the combination of innovative strength, sense of responsibility, and social thinking that has characterized our company for three generations.

When Mrs. König accepted the award, she made it clear that this appreciation applies to the entire team: “This award is not only for me personally, but also for all the people who work at König & Meyer every day with passion and conviction.”

What drives us – since 1949 and today more than ever

For us, this evening was a wonderful opportunity to reflect once again on what makes König & Meyer strong. Since its founding in 1949, the brand has stood for precision, durable, high-quality products, and a business approach characterized by fairness and respect. Under the joint leadership of Gabriela König and Heiko Wolz, we are continuing this tradition – with the aim of always improving a little bit more.

Our more than 300 employees, our training work, our commitment to the region, and, of course, our product development – all of this is reflected in this award. It motivates us to continue taking bold steps forward.
