König & Meyer gets a mobile website

After the relaunch of the König & Meyer Website in April 2011, we launch the mobile website for smartphones now.
The use of web compatible mobile devices has been soaring and to that effect we have also optimized our website.

We have chosen, especially for the mobile internet users, the most important categories of the German and the English website version.
Design and look haven´t been changed, configuration and navigation have been adjusted for the comparatively small displays of the mobile phones.
But the important navigation elements can be found as usual. So if you open the homepage of the mobile website, you will see the well-established website categories which are named in the mobile version as follows: News, Products, Photos, Videos and Social Media.

Due to the news– including all press releases on our website- the photos and videos plus the social media category– which provides the latest twitter and facebook feeds- our dealers and customers, all musicians and website visitors will always be up to date.

If you click on the music equipment, promoted on the homepage, you will be linked to the product area. Moreover you get there by using the product search or the direct link to the product category below.
Our product classes are listed in a row and per „drop down“ you will see the respective sub-categories.
The user will find there all the important features of our website: You can directly search for products or they can be detected with the help of different filters like price, weight or type. In addition to photos and videos we provide all important product information. The data sheet or the instructions can be saved as a PDF on the mobile phone.
Furthermore you can get the complete König & Meyer catalog as an e-paper.

Our next step is the developing of the König & Meyer App.!
Based on our mobile website version we will provide the App. for IOS and Android. It won´t take such a long time until the users can get the free download of our App. and then they will get all information and the service of König & Meyer just by one click.
